It's one of my favorite parts of the day in one of my favorite places to be. Reminds me of Burke Lake at 6:45 AM on summer mornings when I went out there as a 7 -year old with my friend to build forts XD

i read that you were reading "Life of Pi" i thought it was a really good, though kinda depresing at times, book; how'd (or how are you) like it?

YOUR ZETTA SLOW!

It's not as much a technique, but I like to draw a template as best I can. Then scan it and work over it on another layer in Photoshop/Illustrator. If you meant drawing, itself, Well I make sure I can pose myself in the drawing's pose, first. Make sure it's not too anatomically improbable. Then I use the ball and stick method to draw the pose I posed for my character. Think about muscle, fat, and bones as the primary shapers, and skin as just a tightly sealed sheet over it. Hahaha...well there are lots of other people who are wonderful at colouring like *pyromaniac and *AiKo-FriKkI. Their stuff is so amazing.
